Account Deletion & Data Removal

At GoWords, we respect your privacy and provide transparent ways to delete your account and associated personal data.

⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your word learning progress, saved topics, achievements, and settings will be permanently erased.

Option 1: Delete Account via GoWords Mobile App (Recommended)

You can delete your account directly inside the app at any time:

  1. Open the GoWords app on your device.
  2. Navigate to the Profile tab in the navigation menu.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the Profile page.
  4. Tap the red Delete Account button.
  5. Confirm your decision in the popup modal.

Option 2: Web Deletion Request Form (Without App)

If you no longer have access to the GoWords app or have uninstalled it, you can submit an account deletion request using the form below:

Data Retention and Deletion Policy

What data is deleted: When an account deletion request is processed, your user profile document, vocabulary learning profiles, custom topics, progress buckets, and authentication records are permanently removed from Firebase Firestore and Authentication. No personal data is retained after deletion.
